C++ Compiler in Ubuntu

Installing software is not a problem at all in Ubuntu. The “apt-get install <apps>” command takes care of this.

However for those programmers out there it might be a trouble to compile softwares.You can get rid this problem by issuing the below command:

apt-get install build-essential

The above command will install the following packages in your ubuntu:
cpp dpkg-dev g++ g++-4.2 gcc libc6-dev libstdc++6-4.2-dev libtimedate-perl
linux-libc-dev patch
